Everything this website collects about you, you have typed into one of our two forms yourself, or sent to us using the email address or phone number published on these pages. We do not buy data, and we do not track you around the internet.
An enquiry sent from this website is the start of a booking, so it is worth knowing what happens to it next. Once a stay is confirmed we keep the booking record itself: your name and contact details, the dates and pitch, the number in your party, your vehicle and unit details where relevant, and a record of the deposit and balance payments. No payment is ever taken through this website — there is no checkout, no card form and no payment provider connected to it — so it never sees or stores payment details of any kind.
This website has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no social media embeds. We do not build a profile of you, and no decision about you is ever made automatically — a person reads every enquiry.

None of this relies on consent, so there is no box to tick and nothing to withdraw. Where we rely on legitimate interests you can object at any time — see your rights.
We do not send marketing. We do not have a mailing list, we do not send offers or newsletters, and we will not use your enquiry to contact you about anything other than the enquiry itself. If that ever changes we would ask you to opt in first, separately and clearly.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It reaches the following suppliers purely so the website and our email can work:

Each acts as our processor and may only use the data to provide that service to us. We would also disclose information if we were legally required to.
All three suppliers above are US companies, so your information may be stored on or accessed from servers outside the UK. Transfers are covered by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where that does not apply, by the International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. In plain terms, they are contractually bound to protect your data to UK standards.

When a retention period ends, the record is deleted from our mailbox and our records.

Ask by email or post using the details above. It is free, and we will respond within one month. We may need to check who you are first. Some of these rights have limits: we cannot delete a booking record we are legally required to keep for tax purposes, for instance.
This website sets no cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and shows no cookie banner, because it has nothing to ask you to consent to. That is deliberate. Every page is served entirely from this website — the fonts are hosted here rather than by Google, there are no embedded maps or videos, and there is no third-party script anywhere on the site. Nothing about your visit is sent to another company unless you choose to follow a link away from here.
Our host, Cloudflare, may set the following for security and to keep the site working. These are strictly necessary, so no consent is required for them, but you should know they exist:

We link out to places worth visiting nearby, to Google Maps for directions, and to our reviews on Tripadvisor. These are ordinary links, not embedded content — nothing loads from those companies while you are on our site, and nothing is sent to them unless you choose to click. Following a link takes you somewhere we don’t control, with its own privacy practices. This notice covers only this website.
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so clearly rather than quietly editing the text.
